Тренировочный вариант №1 составлен в соответствии со структурой ВПР 2027 по английскому языку для 8 класса. Работа включает задания по аудированию, чтению, грамматике и написанию электронного письма.

На выполнение проверочной работы рекомендуется отвести не более 45 минут. Сначала выполните все задания самостоятельно, а затем проверьте ответы и изучите подробные объяснения.

My first volunteering experience

Until last spring, I had never done any volunteer work. I thought volunteering was mostly for adults who had plenty of free time. Then our Geography teacher told us about a weekend project in a nature reserve outside the town. Volunteers were needed to clean walking paths, collect rubbish and put up signs for visitors.

At first, I did not want to join the project. I imagined spending the whole day carrying heavy bags in cold, wet weather. However, my best friend Daniel decided to go and persuaded me to come with him. We registered online and received a list of things to bring, including strong shoes, gloves, a raincoat and a bottle of water.

When we arrived at the reserve on Saturday morning, a park ranger divided the volunteers into small groups. Daniel and I were sent to clear a forest path that had been blocked by branches after a storm. The work was more difficult than I had expected, but the older volunteers showed us how to move the branches safely.

Later, we collected plastic bottles and food packaging near a lake. I was surprised by the amount of rubbish people had left behind. The ranger explained that plastic could harm birds and other animals. He also told us that even small pieces of rubbish might remain in the environment for many years.

At lunchtime, all the volunteers ate together outside the visitor centre. We shared sandwiches and talked about why we had joined the project. Some people wanted to protect wildlife, while others simply enjoyed spending time outdoors and meeting new people.

In the afternoon, our group installed several signs asking visitors to stay on the marked paths. The ranger explained that walking outside these paths could damage rare plants. Before we left, he thanked us and showed us photographs of the area before the clean-up.

I returned home tired, but I was proud of what we had achieved. The work had not been easy, yet it was much more enjoyable than I had expected. I have already signed up for another project next month, when volunteers will plant young trees near the lake.

Welcome to the Riverside Activity Centre. The centre is situated in King Street, close to the large town park. It will open again next Monday after several weeks of repair work.

There are photography, painting and cooking classes for teenagers. Photography lessons take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You do not have to bring a camera because the centre has twelve cameras that students can use free of charge.

Painting classes are held on Saturdays. Every month, students can enter a painting competition. The best pictures are displayed in the entrance hall.

Cooking lessons take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Students learn to prepare healthy meals from different countries. There is a small charge for ingredients.

The centre also has a modern computer room. On weekdays, it is open from nine in the morning until eight in the evening. At weekends, it closes at six.

Please remember that the cooking room is closed during the summer holidays. However, all the other rooms and classes remain open.

Система оценивания

В заданиях 1 и 2 за каждый правильно выбранный ответ начисляется 1 балл. В задании 3 по 1 баллу начисляется за каждое правильно преобразованное слово. Максимальный результат за каждое из заданий 1–3 — 5 баллов.

Электронное письмо оценивается по четырём критериям:

решение коммуникативной задачи — до 3 баллов;
организация текста — до 2 баллов;
лексико-грамматическое оформление — до 3 баллов;
орфография и пунктуация — до 2 баллов.

Если объём письма составляет менее 81 слова, ответ оценивается в 0 баллов по всем критериям. Если объём превышает 121 слово, проверяются только первые 110 слов.

Максимальный первичный балл за всю работу — 25.
