Инструкция по выполнению работы
На выполнение проверочной работы по английскому языку отводится один урок (не более 45 минут). Работа состоит из 4 заданий.
Ответы на задания запишите в поля ответов в тексте работы. В случае записи неверного ответа зачеркните его и запишите рядом новый.
При выполнении работы не разрешается пользоваться учебниками, рабочими тетрадями, справочным материалом.

A Day in Paris

Dear Andrey,

I’ve just returned from Paris, and I want to tell you everything. Paris is a city of beauty and culture. On the first day we visited the Eiffel Tower. From the top, the whole city looked like a picture: the River Seine, the bridges, and the streets with cafés.

The next day we went to the Louvre Museum. It is so big that we couldn’t see everything in one day. My favourite part was the paintings by Leonardo da Vinci. Of course, we also saw the Mona Lisa. There were so many tourists taking photos of her!

We walked a lot around the city. I especially liked Montmartre, a part of Paris where many artists live. The streets are narrow, full of painters and small shops. We bought some souvenirs there.

The food was wonderful. I tried croissants, French cheese, and onion soup. My favourite was the croissants, fresh and warm in the morning. The weather was sunny, but in the evenings it got cold, so we wore jackets.

Paris is a city I will never forget. I hope one day you can visit it too.
