Topic: Many teenagers think that reading books is a waste of time.

Many teenagers believe that reading books is a waste of time because they prefer films, games and social media. However, I strongly disagree with this opinion.

Firstly, books help us learn new words and improve our language. They also develop imagination because readers have to create characters and places in their minds. Secondly, books can teach us important things about people and life. Reading is also a good way to relax after a busy school day.

Of course, reading takes more time than watching a short video, but I think this time is useful. In conclusion, books are still an important and enjoyable part of our lives.

Topic: Love makes the world go round.

People often say that love makes the world go round. In my opinion, this statement is true because love influences many of the decisions people make and gives them strength in difficult situations.

Love is not limited to romantic relationships. People love their families, friends, countries and even the work they do. This feeling can make them care about others and sometimes sacrifice their own comfort.

A good example can be found in Charlotte Brontë’s novel “Jane Eyre”. Jane loves Mr Rochester, but she refuses to stay with him when she discovers that he is already married. Her love is strong, yet she does not abandon her principles. Later, when circumstances change, Jane returns to him and they are able to build their life together.

Therefore, I believe that love is one of the strongest forces in human life. It encourages people to help, forgive and support one another, and without it the world would be a much colder place.
