A School Camping Trip

Last month our class went on a camping trip to a beautiful forest near a large lake. Our teachers wanted us to learn more about nature and spend some time outdoors.

We travelled by bus for three hours before we reached the campsite. When we arrived, the first thing we did was to put up our tents. Some students had never done it before, so the teachers helped them.

During the trip we did many interesting activities. In the morning we went hiking in the forest and learned how to recognise different plants and animals. In the afternoon we usually played sports or went swimming in the lake.

In the evening we sat around the campfire. Our teacher told us interesting stories about the forest and we cooked food together.

The camping trip lasted three days. Everyone enjoyed it very much and many students said it was the best school trip they had ever had.
